Will my Georgia License be accepted in another state? The State of Florida and North Carolina have agreements with the State of Georgia accepting the results of their low voltage examinations based on the category of licensure but only after you have submitted a complete endorsement application, meet their qualifications and been approved by the qualifying state licensing board.



     FLORIDA CATEGORY     

 Georgia Low Voltage Unrestrictive (LVU) = Florida Alarm System Contractor I (EF)
 Georgia Low Voltage Alarms (LVA) = Florida Alarm System Contractor II (EG)
 Georgia Low Voltage General (LVG) = Florida Limited Energy Systems Specialty (ES)

 Georgia Low Voltage Telecom. (LVT) = Florida Limited Energy Systems Specialty (ES)
 



     NORTH CAROLINA CATEGORY     

 Georgia all Classes of Low Voltage = North Carolina Special Restricted - Low Voltage (SP-LV)
             (LVU), (LVA), (LVT), (LVG)

In addition to her vast experience in the industry, Ms. Johnson was appointed by the Governor to serve on the Contractors Licensing Board between 1992 and 2002 . During her tenure on the Licensing Board, Ms. Johnson served on numerous committees. Most importantly, she presided as the Application Committee Chairman. As head of the Application Committee, Ms. Johnson was in charge of enforcing licensing laws and overseeing licensing activity.
